AIMS accuses

Apunba Ireipak Maheiroising Sinpanglup (AIMS) has accused some teachers at the exam centre of SV Getwell School Pangei of collecting money from candidates of NIOS D.EI.Ed examination for alleged exemption from examination rules and procedures.
Speaking to media persons at AIMS office today, its secretary (organisation) Nikarson Khumancha said that 871 took part in the exam at the said centre on March 15 and 16 but the teachers on duty collected Rs 100 from each of the candidates inside the examination hall on the first day.
He further alleged that the teachers also offered to reveal their bank account details so that the candidates could deposit more money.
Stating that such activities disturb not only the examination but the future of many aspiring teachers as well, Nikarson appealed the Department concerned to take up necessary actions at the earliest.
On the other hand, a source from Getwell School clarified that the school authority is not in any way responsible for such unethical activities.
Claiming that the school authority has no knowledge regarding such activities, the source mentioned that the school authorities will initiate necessary investigation and punish the people responsible at the earliest.
