ABVP organises voter awareness campaign

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur has successfully organised a pioneering voter awareness campaign titled "National First Voting Much" at Central Agriculture University (CAU), Iroisemba, National Information Technology Manipur and National Sports University, Manipur.
According to a release issued by ABVP Manipur, the voter awareness campaign aimed to empower the youth with knowledge about their electoral rights and responsibilities, encouraging them to make informed decisions during the upcoming elections.
Through interactive sessions and informative workshops, the event sought to instill a sense of civic duty and active citizenship among Manipur's burgeoning youth population.
At the event, Kamal Nayan, organising secretary of ABVP North East Zone, highlighted the pivotal role of Manipur's youth in shaping the developmental trajectory of Bharat (India) .
Emphasizing the importance of active participation in the democratic process, Kamal Nayan asserted that Manipur's youth will be instrumental in steering the nation towards progress and prosperity through their votes.
"I firmly believe that the youth of Manipur possess the power to drive positive change and development in our nation.
By exercising their right to vote, they can contribute significantly to the advancement of Bharat", he added.
ABVP karyakartas including Gautam, RK Yaikhomba Tonsana, Rajesh, Rikomba, Chingkhei, Victoria, Priyaluxmi, Jelson, Rajiangong Golmei and Nongjumba also conducted a poster campaign and visited various parts of the market area, as well as different colonies.
The poster campaign was carried out with the aim to spread awareness and engage with residents on important issues affecting their community.
The team diligently navigated through the bustling streets, ensuring that their message reached as many people as possible.
Notably, as Manipur gears up for the electoral process, initiatives like these play a crucial role in fostering a culture of democratic participation and nation-building.
