Thoubal, May 11 2025: World Mother's Day was observed today at Women's Income Generation Centre Complex, Thoubal Wangmataba organised by the WIGC Children Home for Girls in collaboration with Advocate Leishangthem Rashmani Memorial Trust and Agasti Cultural Academy.

WIGC Thoubal founder secretary, Oinam Indira Devi, Agasti Cultural Academy president, Lourembam Pramodini Devi, ALRMT Director, Sapam Surnalata Devi, social worker O Meipak, Wagmataba Meira Paibi treasury secretary, Tababi and Wangmataba Meira Paibi secretary, I Inaobi attended the observance.

Children of the home presented gifts to their mothers.

A painting competition was also held wherein the children drew portraits of their mothers.
