Police were requisitioned today at RIMS Hospital's Casualty ward as staff of the hospital refused to open for fear of reprisal after the staff got a hand grenade wrapped in a newspaper last night around 10.30. According to report, unidentified miscreants delivered a hand grenade at the casualty counter of RIMS Hospital last night.
A chit inscribing 'Yanaba puraktriba makhei casualty hangba yaroi-PREPAK (PRO) (The casualty ward is restricted to open until an agreement is made) was attached with the grenade, the report said.
Staff shut down the Casualty ward since midnight yesterday till this morning.
