Imphal, February 18: Resuming from February 20, the full Budget session of the Manipur Legislative Assembly would be held till March 12 .

There would be in all 16 sittings during the resumed session.

The Budget session of the State Assembly began along with the address delivered by Governor Dr SS Sidhu on February 1.After the proceeding of the session till February 5, Speaker of the Assembly Dr S Budhichandra postponed the House session till Feb 20.On the first day of the resumed session, Supplementary Demands for Grant 2007-08 and Budget Estimate 2008-09 would be tabled in the House and on the second day (Feb 21), along with discussion of the Supplementary Demand, Manipur Appropriation No.1 Bill, 2008 will be introduced.

On Feb 22 and 25, Budget Estimate 2008-09 would be discussed and Manipur Appropriation No.I Bill, 2008 will be passed after discussion.

Discussion on the Demand for Grants will commence from the following day (February 26) and on March 7, Manipur Ceiling on Govt Guarantee (Amendment) Bill, 2008 would be introduced.
