Teachers' orientation prog is to streamline education sector of District Council, says CEO-SHADC Kpi

The two weeklong Refresher Courses cum Teachers' Orientation Programme for teachers concluded today.
During the closing ceremony held at Conference Hall, ADC Sadar Hills at Kangpokpi DHQs, T Manihar Singh (MCS) Chief Executive Officer, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Kangpokpi said that the two weeklong Refresher Courses cum Teachers' Orientation Programme for teachers including Headmasters/Headmistress of all schools under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi is to streamline the education sector of ADC Sadar Hills.
The MCS officer continued that the two weeks programme is also an initiative to change the image of the education sector of District Council which is often projected as being poor and unattractive than other educational institutions specially the private schools.
He said that initiative to organize such orientation programme was taken to gear up schools under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi into a different level beyond the expectation of the people and to restructure the functioning, management and quality of teaching in the educational institutions under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi.
The CEO whose priority is to streamline the education sector of ADC Sadar Hills also said that the attendance of teachers during the two weeklong orientation programme was impressive and it is a positive sign to improve and streamline the education sector soon.
The MCS officer who strictly monitored the orientation programme further said that absentees in the programme will be put up in the House of ADC Sadar Hills and appropriate action shall be initiated as per the House resolution.
The closing ceremony of the Refresher Courses cum Teachers' Orientation Programme was attended by Chairman, ADC Sadar Hills, Haokholal Hangshing, DC Kangpokpi, Dr Rangitabali Waikhom, IAS and other councilors of ADC Sadar Hills including Vice Chairman, Thangjakam Misao.
The Program Coordinator, Thangjalal Touthang, Deputy Inspector of School, ADC Sadar Hills also expressed gratitude to the ADC Sadar Hills Chairman and other concerned authority for the worthy initiative in organizing such program for the welfare of the education sector while conveying gratitude to all the teachers of SHADC Kpi for their enthusiastic participation.
He continued that almost all the in-service teachers under SHADC Kpi attended the orientation program and added that the well experience resource persons from Imphal were also very regular and punctual apart from 20 staffs including office peon who were also fully engaged for the success of the program.
