Foundation Day held

The United All Communities Social Uplifters (UNACSU) Kangleipak celebrated its 3rd foundation day today at Amity Hall, Adimjati Shiksha Ashram.
The programme was attended by RV Mingthing, former Minister; Laishram Biren, president UNACSU and Panti Golmei, president RWO (AMN) and Angomcha Araba, advocate as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
Speaking at the occasion, RV Mingthing stressed the need to put up a collective fight against outside influence for the common betterment and welfare of the indigenous people of the State.
In his presidential address, Laishram Biren said the union, formed with an objective to bring peace and tranquillity in the State, has survived three years.
He called upon all concerned to join hands in the demand for ILPS implementation in the State.
Dr Sapam Dilip, lecturer of LMS Law College, Imphal and editor of a vernacular daily Naharolgi Thoudang, Khoirom Loyalakpa presented a talk each during the function.
A publication titled Yangmasho Shaiza and his Manipur was also released during the function.
Some women leaders were also honoured.
