AMGSU sounds alram

The All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union (AMGSU) has expressed deep concern over the recent rise in rabies cases reported in various parts of the State.
The AMGSU in a release stated that the Union is alarmed over the growing number of dog bite incidents and the increasing threat posed to public health, especially to children and vulnerable groups.
AMGSU urged the health authorities, Municipal bodies, and local administrations to take immediate and effective steps to address the situation.
It appealed to all dog owners to act responsibly by ensuring their pets are properly vaccinated against rabies and by not letting them roam unsupervised in public areas.
