A two-day residential political training camp being organised by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Manipur State unit has begun from today at the Nityaipat Chuthek party office here.
The training camp was inaugurated by National president of BJP Yuva Morcha Amit Thakar as chief guest; BJP Yuva Morcha, Manipur State unit Chourjit as functional president and BJP Manipur Pradesh Dr H Borababu Singh as guest of honour.
Speaking at the occasion Amit Thakar expressed confidence that BJP would soon come to power in Manipur just like in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
Blaming the ruling Congress led SPF Government for the situation existing in Manipur, he assured that when BJP comes to power, it would work in according to the wishes of the people.
In his presidential address, Chourjit claimed that BJP was different from rest of the other political parties and has certain unique philosophy and ideologies that encourages the youth to follow the footsteps of great leaders and not to fall prey to corruption.
In the first session of the training programme, Dr H Borababu talked about the prospect of BJP to emerge triumphant in the Parliamentary election in case the election takes place in mid-2008.With BJP regaining its strength and winning election in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, Dr Borababu said that the eastern region is ready to taste the power of BJP.
He also said that the imposition of President's Rile in Karnataka was the fear of the Congress and JDS Government that BJP would rule over he South if it comes to power.
