The SPF Cabinet which met today evening at the Chief Minister's Secretariat has agreed to a slew of measures to adopt and implement.
Talking to the press a reliable source said that the Cabinet agreed on appointing three technical and non-technical staff for the effective implementation of the NREGS Act in all the nine districts of the State.
The three officials will be engaged for only the implementation of NREGS, said the source.
The other points on which the Cabinet agreed was the appointment of 168 employees to the 12 Tribal Development Blocks.
It was also agreed that the Manipur Judicial Service would be amended as per the directives of the Supreme Court of India.
Later, a meeting of the Congress Legislative Party (CPL) was also convened by Chief Minister, Ibobi Singh wherein he talked to MoS Prithiviraj Chauhan urging him to end the stalemate over Monika's case.
