SI/Jemadar selected candidates appeal

The SI/Jemadar selected candidates 2010 core committee, in a press conference held at Manipur press club, Major Khul, demanded immediate dispatch of appointment letters to the selected candidates of SI/Jemadar 2010 .
In April 24, 2010 the application forms for the selection of SI/Jemadar was issued.
And from July 4-29 the same year, the candidates underwent physical efficiency test.
The eligible candidates then, in January 2, 2011, sat for the written examination/test for the post.
The selected candidates of the written examination then underwent the viva-voice the next year from September 5-11, 2012.The final results came out a year later in August 6, 2013 with a list of 388 candites, 285 SI and 59 Jemadar selected in total.
However, the Government is yet to dispatch appointment letters to these selected candidates owing to which the candidates are facing all sort of inconveniences, the Core Committee speaker informed.
The problem have been brought to the notice of every concerned departments, the speaker said, without any positive effect.
He further placed an appeal to the Government to immediately dispatch the appointment letters to these candidates on human ground.
Speaking on the occasion, core committee member Sinam Roshan said, that according to an order issued by the Additional Secretary (Home), Boby Waikhom on July 1, an appeal for the immediate dispatch of appointment letters to 257 selected candidates were made to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, DGP and other related departments.
The committee further requested the immediate completion of verification process of the 87 selected candidates under scrutiny.
