Imphal, February 29 2024: The Kurash Association of Manipur has informed that the first South Asian Kurash Championship (senior and junior) will be held from April 19 to 20 at Cochin, Kerala and the International Open Tournament will be held from April 11 to 13 at Esfarayen, Iran.

In this regard, a trial selection for the preparation of the Indian team is set to be held from March 16 to 17 in Punjabi University Sports Department Indoor Hall, Patiala, said the association in a release.

Players interested in taking part in the National trial may contact the general secretary of the Association (9612152594) on or before March 6, it said.
