PTRC crush MPA, PCC beat YPHUC in MNCA Women's U-15 Tournament

Imphal, February 29 2024:
PTRC thrashed MPA by 10 wickets while PCC outplayed YPHUC by 37 runs in their league matches of the 1st MNCA Womens U-15 Tournament on Thursday.
PTRC bowled out MPA for 63 in 20.1 overs with the help of Lourembam Prena, who claimed 4 scalps, with Laishram Kiran Chanu taking 2 wickets, and Laishram Bigyapati Devi, Laitonjam Tolika Devi and Laitonjam Linthoi Devi contributing one each.
They then achieved the target in 6.3 overs courtesy of openers Lourembam Prena (44 not out) and Laitonjam Linthoi Devi (7 not out).
The other match saw PCC beat YPHUC by 37 runs.
Asked to bat, PCC were dismissed for 131 in 28.3 overs as Victoria Thokchom (19), Nongthombam Langlenthoibi Chanu (16) and Laishram Anjali Devi (14) scored in double figures in their innings.
In reply, YPHUC surrendered after 21.4 overs, managing 94 in their futile chase.
Nongthombam Langlenthoibi Chanu shone with the ball for PCC with 6 wickets while Laishram Anjali Devi took 2, and Preety Lama and Victoria Thokchom got one each in their win.
