Four nabbed with 1240 Relex CT bottles

Imphal, August 16 2023: NAB PS on Tuesday arrested four people and seized 1240 Relex CT bottles containing Codeine Phosphate from Haji Ali Barbar fast food centre at Mantripukhri.

The arrested people have been identified as Yumkhaibam Abdul Noor (23) son of Jalluddin of Mayang Imphal Bengoon, Tutumani Kalita (24) son of Dibakar Kalita of Mangaldui, Darang district in Assam, Bidyut Sutradhar (27) son of Dharani sutradhar and his brother Bikas Sutradar (18) of Goalparangi Fasal in Assam.

According to police, a team of NAB PS arrested the four people along with 1240 bottles of Relex-CT from Haji Ali Barbar fast food centre at Mantripukhri at around 1.30 am on Tuesday.

A Tata truck bearing registration number AS01NC 3293 and two mobile phones were also seized, it continued, while adding that a case has been registered for further investigation.
