Imphal, January 27 2024: New executives of Lamkang Kurchuknao Kunpun (LKK)/Lamkang Students' Union, Chandel district for the tenure 2024-2027 were elected during the 56th General Conference held from January 14 to 20 at Mantri Paniha village in Chandel district.

In a release, LKK informed that the nine-member newly elected executive body comprises Dilbung Johny as president, Darshong Sankhil as vice president, Bungkham Sankhil as general secretary, Patrick Sankhil as assistant general secretary, Welngam Sankhil as finance secretary, among others.

LKK Election Commission returning officer SS Rocky administrated the oath of allegiance to the new executives on January 18 in the presence of general populace of Lamkang.

Change of guard, handing and taking over of the files of LKK was held on Friday at Amity Ball, Chandel district headquarters, during which Lamkang Naga Baptist Association (LNBA) finance secretary reverend Leivon Samuel Lamkang blessed the new executives, it added.
