BSF organises free medical camps

Imphal/Kangpokpi, February 29 2024: In a series of civic action programmes, 29 Bn BSF under the aegis of Sector Headquarter BSF CI (Operations) Manipur organized free medical camps at two different locations on February 28 and 29 at Thangjingpokpi T-junction and at village Leikoiching under Imphal East and Kangpokpi district respectively.

The programme was graced by Sonam Chhering, Commandant 29 BN BSF wherein Dr Mohit Kumar Verma, AC/MO examined a total of 497 patients for various medical concerns, said a press note by 29 Bn BSF.

Free medical check ups were done and free medicines were provided.

The Villagers of Nongdam Tangkhul, Tumukhong, Thangjingpokpi, Leikoching, Nongpok Kakching, Sopleng, and New Salem were benefited by the medical camp.

Commandant Sonam Chhering interacted with the villagers and appealed to them to maintain cleanliness, personal hygiene and sanitation for their well-being.
