Joykisan urges team officials and organizer of 12th Manipur State League 2017 to set aside their differences

Kh Joykisan, on behalf of Kh Ingocha Memorial appreciated the effort taken by various stakeholders including the participating teams and the organizers All Manipur Football Association to resolve the controversy surrounding the much delayed 12th Manipur State League 2017, which was organized under the aegis of AMFA on September 6, 2017 with the participation of 12 teams, in a series of meeting held on October 29 and November 28 .
In a press meet held at the meeting hall of AMFA, Joykisan urged the participating teams and AMFA to set aside their differences in the interest of the players and the game of football.
He further informed that the Manipur State League was started in the year 2006 as part of Vision India Project sponsored by Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to develop the game of football in Manipur while adding that AFC continued to sponsor the league till its fifth edition of 2010 .
However, from 2011 onward, the sixth edition of Manipur State League has been continously sponsored by Kh Ingocha Singh Memorial Trust as the sponsorship deal with AFC matured, he added.
President AMFA S Sanatomba, Gen Secy in-charge L Jyotimroy, Secy All Manipur Sports Association RK Sanayaima and the representatives of each participating team of the 12th Manipur State League 2017 attended the press meet.
