Lower Kom Keirap Football tourney : Samulamlan FC edge past Siangai FC 3-2, AU FC trounce SN FC 8-2

Samulamlan FC edged past Siangai FC by 3-2 goals while AU FC drubbed SNFC 8-2 in today's league matches of the ongoing Kom Keirap State Level Football tournament 2018 organised by Lower Kom Keirap Baptist Youth Society at its village ground.
Samulamlan FC rode on Ngamneiril's hattrick to seal the narrow 3-2 victory in a very competitive match against Siangai FC.
Donny gave Siangai FC a fresh start with his goal early in the 2nd minute but Ngamneiril of Samulamlan pulled back a goal in the 5 th minute to make it 1-1 till the end of the first half.
Siangai FC took the lead again when Angam Thaimei banged in a fine shot in the 51st minute but Ngamneiril denied them from taking home the match.
Ngamneiril brought in the equaliser the very next minute Angam Thaimei scored for Siangai FC before hitting his third and gave Samulamlan FC a close 3-2 win.
The second match of the day was rather more entertaining as AU FC showed an attacking play and outclassed SNFC by 8-2 goals.
AUFC took a 4-0 lead in the first half with Rupa opening the account early in the 4th minute.
Jameson of AU FC was a consistent threat to SN FC and it was in the 7th minute that he scored his first and his team's second.
Modi struck a fine goal three minutes later to make it 3-0 while Jameson hit his second in the 24th minute to hand his team a 4-0 first half lead.
The second half saw SNFC tried hard to return into the match and their efforts yielded positive result when Nahumpou and Bonapou netted one goal each and reduced the deficit.
Their condition however got worsened as Jameson and Jesper added one goal each before Premjit struck two goals and completed the 8-2 demolition.
