CMG, Presto begins Olympic campaign; State cabinet approves Rs 1 lakh each

Imphal, July 17 2012:
With just 10 days left for the sporting extravaganza Olympic 2012 to kick off in London, people of the state are filled with joy and cheer for the five Olympians of the state who will be representing India in the Games.
Meanwhile, Celebrety Media Group, Manipur (CMG) in association with Presto today kicked off a poster campaign wishing best of luck to the five Olympians.

On the other hand, the state cabinet has approved cash assistance of ' 1 lakh each to the five Olympians after all the Olympians except hockey player Kothajit have reached London for the Games.
As part of the campaign by CMG and Presto, a large hoarding with photos of the five Olympians was erected today at MMTA Complex, Khuman Lampak today.
The hoarding have a message in Manipuri written in Manipuri as "Eikhoina Nakhoigee Mai Pakpa Ngairi" on the top and "Come Home Triumphant, Let the Gold Glitter on Your Shoulder for the Glory of Manipur" in the middle.
At the bottom line of the hoarding an inscription was also inserted which read "Let the spirit drives you to a new zeal & quest for excellence" .
Other Similar hoardings will also be erected at entrances of the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex as an way to encourage the emerging players of the state who come there to practice daily.
Meanwhile, coach players and officials of Manipur who came to Khuman Lampak Sports Complex expressed their gratitude to CMG and Presto for erecting such hoarding which will encourage the budding players of the state in turn.
