Renedy on ABP News Channel for FIFA World Cup analysis

Imphal, June 23 2014: For the first time in the history of Manipuri football, Potsangbam Renedy is hosting discussion over FIFA World Cup 2014 on Anand Bazar Pratika (ABP) News Channel on contract basis for one month and the analysis is telecast all over India from 9.00 am to 9.30 am daily.

Renedy had signed the contract like other famed footballers who are presently taking part in analysis telecast on different sports channels.

Faults committed by players, failure of converting goals and losing in the match are analyzed during these discussion.

Moreover, the analysis predicts the probable fate of the teams who have played in the tournament so far.

The news channel which telecast in Hindi dialect also shows a montage where Renedy is seen kicking a ball by bouncing it over before programme gets started under the name 'Duniya Gol Hai' .

Renedy, who is also the president of Football Players Association of India (FPAI) at present, has been featured in such analysis programme for the first time.

But Baichung Bhutia and Sunil Chettri have taken part in such programmes on various news channels earlier.

Even if the contract amount signed by Renedy could not be ascertained, it is believed that the amount might be equal to that of Baichung Bhutia and Sunil Chettri.
