Imphal, October 01:
The 12 hours Tiddim road bandh called by the JAC Against the Killing of Thiyam Chandramani against the indifference of the State Government to its appeal to establish the truth behind the death concluded peacefully.
Maintaining that the death of Chandramani was suspicious, the JAC also rejected the post-mortem report given by one Dr Pradip of RIMS which said that Chandramani drowned.
The JAC alleged that the post mortem report was a fabricated one.
While condemning the alleged excesses of the security forces during the 12 hours bandh, the JAC warned that more intense and violent modes of agitation will be launched if the Government continues to ignore the JAC's demand for proper investigation into the death even after today's bandh.
