The Komrem Students' Union, Manipur has urged the State Government to upgrade Sagang Govt High School to a higher secondary school at the earliest considering the inconveniences being faced by the students of the area.
In a statement, the union said that Class XI and XII students of the area have to travel a long distance to reach the nearest higher secondary school.
That is why, the area has witnessed a rise in the number of post matric school drop outs, the statement added.
