Imphal, May 06 2009:
A second medical camp was organised under the aegis of the red Shield Division by 357 Field Hospital in general area Leimakhong today to provide medical aid to the villagers of P Moulding and the surrounding Nepali villages, said a PIB (DW) release.
Conveying that these hamlets are isolated colonies perched on hill slopes of lower Leimakhong with no hospital or primary medical care, the release conveyed that in addition to the medical officers catering to the requirement of the deprived villagers dental check-ups and awareness session in the prevention of STD were also held.
In all 365 patients including 186 ladies and 101 children were extended medical assistance at the camp.
