Painting competition

Imphal, February 04 2016:
12 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles
under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (South) organised a painting
competition at Kwatha village in Chandel district on February 2.
31 children including boys and girls participated in the
event.
The competition was held in two categories - below
Class-V and Class V to VIII.
Children were allowed to take
any subject as they desired.
The aim behind the competition
was to provide opportunity to children to express their talent
in painting and to cultivate their hobbies, said an AR press
release.
Around 90 villagers including village secretary Ksh
Iboyaima Singh, chairman A Amu Singh and parents of the
participants were also present during the competition.
