65 Urea bags worth Rs 17,342 seized by l2 AR

Personnel of 12 Assam Rifles seized 65 Urea bags each weighing 50 kg from the possession of three van drivers bearing registration numbers MN01X 8535, MN01X 2180 and MN01X 6643 at Khudengthabi Checkpost while conducting checking and search along Imphal-Moreh road onNovember lOat around 8.45 pm.
The arrested van drivers have been identified as Md Mukandar (33) s/o Md Allamddin from Kelakhong Mayang Imphal, Md Abdul Gamil (28) s/o Md Abdul Samad from Telakhong Mayang Imphal and Tholong Rengwor Lamkang (26) s/o Tholong Kodom Lamkang from Thamla Khuren.
The name of the seized Urea bags is Neem Coated Mukta Urea (46% Nitrogen) made by Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited, Namrup worth Rs 17,342 each costing Rs 266.8.The arrested persons along with the seized items were handed over to Custom Preventive Force Moreh later in the evening today.
