Training to tackle human trafficking concludes

Imphal, July 13 2011:
A training programme to create awareness on human trafficking organised by the Churachandpur District Police has concluded today at Tuibong Community Hall, CCpur.
The training programme which began from July 11 was held in order to prevent and tackle human trafficking in the district.
Daniel Gangte, Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee CCpur and SP in charge CCpur Rajen talked on issues related to human trafficking in the morning session today.
In the evening session, Athokpam Chinglemba former coordinator, Manipur Coalition on Children Rights Protection (CCRP) talked on 'Human Trafficking in Manipur' .
