No power supply
250 KVA Transformer installed at Takyel Leikai City school Leirak has been found faulty today.
It will take minimum of three days to repair.
As such, MSPDCL requested the consumers of the area to bear the inconvenience.
Assault condemned
The Forum of BSNL Unions and Associations, Manipur SSA strongly condemned the alleged physical assault on an official of BSNL, Imphal by GM Telecom District, Manipur SSA yesterday at the GM's chamber.
Seminar held
A two-day National seminar on "Stress Management and Conflict Situation Challenges of Stakeholders in the Higher Education Institutions" was held on October 26 and October 27 at the conference hall of Mayai Lambi College, Yumnal Huidrom.
Dr RK Lenin, Department of Psychiatry, RIMS, Prof RK Narendra, Department of Biostatistics, RIMS and Dr Chinglen Maisnam, Department of Economics, Manipur University were also present at the seminar.
Special clinic
A special clinic for Oculoplasty under the Dept of Ophthalmology, RIMS, Imphal will be opened on every Wednesday at 2 pm at Eye OPD, RIMS, according to a statement issued by the RIMS authority.
SDO bans gambling
The Social Development Organisation (SDO), during its executive meeting, has resolved to ban all forms of gambling during Diwali in Pallel from Gram Panchayat Ward No 7 to Ward No 11 .
In a statement, the organisation said that the ban is effective starting today while warning of taking up stringent action against those individuals who defy the organisation's instruction.
The organisation also extended warm greetings to all the women of Manipur on the occasion of the upcoming Ningol Chakkouba.
Training course begins
A one year training course on Bachelor of Ministry and Master of Ministry Graduation has started today at Town Baptist Church, Longmai (Noney) Bazar.
The training course was organised under the aegis of Biblical Institute of Leadership Training, Manipur.
The inaugural function was also attended by Reverend Simon Raomai, Pastor, MBC Centre Church, Reverend Kh Shamo, Principal, Biblical Institute of Leadership Training and Dr Reverend S Rishikanta.
