ANSAM bans NE Youth Fest

Imphal, January 14, 2011:
All Naga Students' Association Manipur (ANSAM) has banned the North East Youth Festival proposed to be held at Senapati from January 17. It further said that the festival would not be allowed to host in any Naga area of Manipur as well.
Youth Initiative Foundation, the organiser of the event went against the NPC declaration of July 1, 2010 of �severing ties' with the State Government.
Urging the organisers to respect the decision of the students' body warned that befitting action would be taken up against the organisers and participants if they fail to pay heed to the call.
