Manipur adjudged first

Manipur has been adjudged the top position among small States of the country regarding infant survival.
The prize of this achievement was handed over to Manipur team by the Union Health Minister JP Nadda during the National Summit on Good and Replicable Practices and Innovations in Public Healthcare Systems at Shimla on July 2 .
According to an information received from the State Programme Manager of NHM Manipur, the summit was organised by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Department of Health and Family Welfare, Himachal Pradesh from July 2 to 4 .
The objective of the summit was to systematically identify innovations, which can have a high impact to address morbidity and mortality.
