Assam Rifles prompt action saves life of Civilian

Imphal, June 15 2019:
Maruti Van driver Joten Singh of village Mentom (Imphal) and his family were driving a Van from Moreh to Imphal when their van skidded from the road due to slush and was about to topple in the drain at Sukmai River.
The individuals were taken out from the van and the van itself was pulled out from the drain via recovery vehicle of Assam Rifles.
Prompt action by Chandel Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (S) saved the lives of Joten Singh and his family from the road accident.
