Assam Rifles recovers smuggled goods

Tengnoupal, February 13 2021:
Tengnoupal Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(S) recovered smuggled goods from a house in Loisi village of Tengnoupal district at 11 AM on yesterday.
Acting of specific intelligence regarding a hideout of smuggled goods in a house near Loisi village, the troops of Assam Rifles lunched a thorough search operation in the area around the house and recovered seven bags of clothes and bags.
The assessed market value of the recovered contraband is worth over Rs 2.75 Lakh.
The recovered contraband have been handed over to Custom Department for further investigation.
