Expressing solidarity with the agitation launched by the 32 voluntary organizations for the removal of Disturbed Area Act and Armed Forces Special Powers Act from the State, Transporters and Drivers Council suspended all its Inter State services indefinitely from today.
However 42 empty trucks and 79 tankers were reported to have crossed Mao gate today according to reports received from Mao police.
Reports further informed that all the empty trucks which passed Mao gate today had moved out of Imphal yesterday and spent the night at Lairoi before moving out of the State this morning.
It also added that some trucks are still being stranded near the landslide affected area of Mao.
Reports also said that Imphal bound goods laden trucks numbering about 112 and 50 oil tankers crossed the Mao Gate this morning.
