Manipur state girl raped in Delhi

A 20-years-old girl from Manipur was raped last night.
Complaint lodged, no action taken by people to arrest the culprit, informed a release issued by spokes person of North East Support Centre and Helpline.
The Support Centre sent a fact finding team after the matter was reported to its office.
According to the fact finding team, the incident happened between 10 and 11 pm last night, it added.
It is said that an unidentified man offered lift to the victim for her resident in Mahipalpur while she was waiting for public transport after she finished her office work at around 8.45 pm at Gurgaon.
Instead of taking her to Mahipalpur road, the man forcefully took her to an isolated area in Dwarka sector 20, where in she was beaten up, bite on the face and raped her repeatedly.
She remained unconscious till 11 pm and later called her friends and when they rushed to the spot found her laying in cold and wounded.
The matter was reported to Dwarka Sector 23 Police station early morning today.
The debit card of the rapist was found from the spot where the crime took place.
Police assured that the the rapist would be arrested within two minutes.
Unfortunately, no action has been taken up to arrest the culprit till the filing of this report, it added.
The victim who hailed from Churachandpur district of Manipur came to Delhi in 2010 and working in a spa centre at Gurgaon, added the release.
