Imphal, March 10 2021:
Manipur Market Development Association (MMDA) has urged the authority concerned to prioritise pre-existing vendors for vending/selling goods at the market sheds at Lamphel Super Market and at the northern part of the Temporary Market.
Addressing journalists at Manipur Press Club, secretary of MMDA, Sh Rajendro urged the State Government to apprise the leaders of the street vendors and shopkeepers regarding the ongoing constructions at the Lamphel Super Market and Temporary Market or halt the projects.
He further asked the Government to solve the problem being faced by street vendors operating in Imphal at the earliest.
