While denying involvement in the recent incident at Kanglatongbi area wherein unidentified persons posed as KCP (MC) activists and looted Rs 3 lakh from one Dilip Katawal, propaganda, communication and technical officer of KCP (MC) Tamnganba Meetei in a statement affirmed that impostors would be tracked down and punished accordingly.
informing that under the command of Lalhaba the anti-corruption cell of the KCP-MC's 'Sangai Operation' has launched campaign to achieve its 'social goal', Tamnganba assured that during its campaign maximum restraint would be exercised to ensure the general public do not feel insecure or petrified.
The banned outfit, however, claimed responsibility for firing warning shots at near Kanglatongbi Shantipur Saw Mill for defiance of Dilip Katwal, Ben Bahadur and Sekmai's Nilamani to surrender within the stipulated one month period.
Pointing out that the outfit's summon is still in force, Tamnganba also conveyed that if the trio oblige the call there would be no harsh punishment.
