Imphal, May 28:
Four K-Oil hawkers and 7 agents have been pulled up by cadres of the UNLF and KYKL on charges of selling kerosene oil at Rs 20 per litre as against the price of Rs 14 per litre today.
Speaking to reporters, a spokesman said that though the UNLF and KYKL had announced that it would not demand its share of K-Oil for the benefit of the people and fixed the price at Rs 14 per litre, the nailed hawkers and agents were found selling the fuel at Rs 20 per litre.
Another 70 such agents and hawkers have been identified, claimed the spokesman and alleged that these elements are loyalists of MLA K Erabot.
The 70 agents and hawkers should surrender soon or they will face the music, warned the spokesman.
