AR offers career guidance to students

Imphal, November 08 2023:
Assam Rifles of IGAR (S), conducted a career guidance session for students at St Joseph's High School, Chandel on Tuesday.
The career guidance programme for tribal students & youth was organised by Tribal Research Institute, department of tribal affairs & hills, with support of the ministry of tribal affairs.
Speakers from various sectors, including banking, medical, entrepreneurship, and defence forces, encouraged the students to diligently prepare themselves for becoming responsible and successful future citizens of the country.
SBI Chandel manager BS Chawan, District AIDC Control Officer Chandel & Tengnoupal Dr Cingdeihnieang, entrepreneur Chinir Solomon, and Assam Rifles company commander Major Abdul Karim shared valuable information, opportunities, and personal experiences related to their respective fields, inspiring the youth to excel in their chosen careers.
The programme stressed the importance of higher education and challenging career options for the youth of the state to enhance their overall well-being.
The event received an enthusiastic response from the students of Chandel district, with approximately 400 students, young individuals, and teachers in participating the event,
