TSA-GHQs endorses 48 hrs gen strike

The Thadou Students' Association-GHQs has endorsed the 48 hours general strike called by All Senapati District Candidates of Manipur Police Constable 2013 Batch from midnight of August 26 .
The president of the student body Lamminlun Singsit said that the decision to endorse the 48 hours strike was taken considering the fact that the wrong decision of the State Government to cancel the DPC can demoralise the morales of the aspiring 2013 police Constable candidates.
He said that it will be a wise step on the part of the State Government to revoke its decision at the earliest and added that all the unwanted incidents that have happened so far is due to the wrong decision of the state Government.
Apart from endorsing the 48 hours general strike the student body said it will enforce the same along National Highway 2 with support from its constituent units.
The student body also asked the state Government to bring an amicable solution at the earliest.
Meanwhile, BJP Sadar Hills district Manipur today strongly condemned the decision to cancel the recruitment test and shared the grievances of the aggrieved candidates.
The condemnation came during the party's meeting today where it adopted a resolution over the issue.
On the other hand, the JAC of All Chandel Written Test Successful Candidates of Police Constable Male 2013 informed that there will be a joint meeting of all the successful candidates and guardians at Indoor Stadium, Chandel tomorrow.
In a statement, JAC president MK Ramjanglen informed that there will be a joint meeting of successful candidates and guardians of All Chandel Written Test Successful Candidates of Police Constable Male 2013 at Indoor Stadium, Chandel district headquarters on August 27 at 11am.The JAC appealed all the Government's offices except Medical and Electricity to shut down as a part of the ongoing agitation (indefinite bandh) of the JAC.
While urging the public to extend support, the JAC further said that the ongoing indefinite bandh in the district will be suspended temporarily during the joint meeting.
However, the JAC will resume the indefinite bandh after the joint meeting, it added.
It may be mentioned that the JAC enforced an indefinite bandh in Chandel district from today in protest against the Government's decision to cancel the recruitment process of police constable (male) .
