Development in the hands of youths: Tilotama

The Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (MPYCC) was observed today 'the Youth Integration Day' at the conference hall of State Guest House, Imphal.
O Ibobi, chief minister of Manipur, Km L Tilotama Devi president of MPYCC, Dr Chaiton Lien Amo minister of health and Gaikhangam minister of works graced the occasion as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
Km L Tilotama Devi addressing the gathering said that today�s youths will be the future of the nation.
The youths of the nation should unite.
United is the weapon of youths.
No united, no strength.
The youths should maintain time properly.
We should not lose time unnecessarily.
Time is the most important thing.
The development of the nation is now in the hands of the youths.
Youths should not be effected by any kind of disease.
The youths should avoid from drugs, AIDS/HIV, wine, cigarettes, etc she added.
In the occasion, Prof N Mohendro MU and Prof Ksh Bimola Devi MU spoke on the topics Economic concerns of Manipur and Role of youths in present society of Manipur as resource persons.
Pradeep Phanjoubam, Editor Imphal Free Press spoke as a special invitee.
Prof Mohendra said management of small open economy of Manipur has continued unmindful of long shadow of poverty and underdevelopment.
Development has to be evolved not created he said.
A capable and good government becomes a vital necessity for development he said.
P Chandrakumar, state coordinator MPYCC gave the welcome address while Hemchandra gave the vote of thanks.
