Imphal, October 17 2016:
Denouncing the results of the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive (Main) Examination 2016, leaders and members of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today stormed the office of Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) located at North AOC.
Notably, personality test was being conducted at MPSC office when BJYM volunteers stormed the office.
A large group of youngsters waving BJP flags and saffron caps marched into MPSC from the direction of Hotel Imphal.
Even as security personnel closed the main gate, the BJYM volunteers pushed open the gate and marched inside the office complex.
Then other security personnel closed the door of the MPSC office.
The protesting political activists held placards which read "Swachh MPSC", "Stop unfair MPSC competitive exams 2016", "Enough is enough", "Corrupt MPSC", "Save the Youth, Save the Nation" etc.
They also scattered mock notes inside the office complex implying that the MPSC Chairman and other officials are corrupt.

The mock currency notes were embossed with the words "Eliminate corruption at all levels", "This is not a legal tender", "Zero Rupees" and "I refuse to give bribe to get a job".
They also pasted the mock currency notes on the car belonging to the MPSC Chairman.
Some of the protesters vandalised a few doors and windows of the MPSC but they were somehow mollified by fellow protesters.
Security forces deployed inside the MPSC office complex were caught dumb-struck for a few moments on seeing the large number of youngsters who were waving BJP flags.
They also shouted slogans "Let's root out corrupt Congress Government", "MCSCC Exams 2016 should be annulled", "MPSC Chairman should resign" etc.
Notably, the MPSC Chairman was present in his office and personality test was being conducted when the dramatic protest erupted inside the office complex.
Speaking to media persons, BJYM Manipur president Pukhrambam Somorjit said that results of the MCSCC (Main) Exam 2016 declared on October 4 are unacceptable because there are many errors and anomalies.
The exam was held between September 4 and September 23 and MPSC declared its results after a gap of just 11 days which only indicated serious anomalies.
It remains highly questionable how MPSC evaluated eight papers of 300 marks each and how the answer sheets were coded and decoded within 11 days.
During the main exam, some candidates were not given extra answer sheets while no such prohibition was imposed on other candidates.
If the exam process is not suspended at the earliest, BJYM would be compelled to launch different modes of intense agitation, Somorjit said.
The ruckus continued for almost half an hour before the protesters were driven away from the office complex by a team of Imphal West District Police.
Police also pulled up three BJYM functionaries including president P Somorjit and vice president Manoharmayum Barish.
