The NSCN (IM) has accused the Indian security forces (both regular army and para military forces) of deliberately violating the ground rules of the ceasefire.
In a statement, the Ministry of Information and Publicity of the outfit said that the violation of ground rules by the Indian security forces has raised doubts over the sincerity of the Indian Government to proceed with the ongoing peace process.
Citing a number of instances, the statement said that one R Amkong, secretary of Ao region and a Leacy Mr Bendang were waylaid by Khaplang men with AR men giving cover on July 29 at Tzutabila.
Both sustained bullet injuries.
Leacy Mr Mawo was ambushed by Assam Rifles at Mairiani road but Mawo escaped unhurt.
The AR also warned the villagers, it charged.
In another incident Lt Felix of the Naga army was arrested along with his father-in-law by 6 Bihar Regiment on August 25.Felix was tortured and he is still in hospital, claimed the statement.
A designate regional camp located deep inside the jungle at Longbha village was raided by 10 AR men said the statement adding that such move will prove detrimental of the peace process.
AR troops on August 14 opened indiscriminate fire on a group of rallyists at Tadubi inflicting injuries son one women.
The AR also made an attempt on the life of Neingulo Krome, secretary of NPMHR, the outfit charged.
The statement further said that 20 AR personnel arrested four village authorities of Tanrui village, Ukhrul on August 25 on the pretext that an old camp once used by the outfit way back in 1989 was freshly established in connivance with the villagers.
NSCN (IM) also said that a combined team of MR and IRB men shot and injured M Sani of Mahel on August 26 and further said that IRB men posted at Dimapur arrested Naga army personnel on August 31.The rebel group said that it is the bounden duty of the GOI to prove her sincerity and added that peace and offensive do not go hand in hand.
