State BJP hails Modi Govt's achievements

BJP Manipur Pradesh has hailed the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for its many achievements.
In commemoration of the completion of first year of the NDA Government's second term, a meeting was held today at the Nityaipat Chuthek office of BJP Manipur Pradesh with its president Kh Bhabananda in the chair.
The meeting attended by many BJP Ministers, MLAs, candidates who contested the last Assembly election on BJP tickets and BJP district president deliberated on the major achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Later speaking to media persons, BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesman Dr Nimaichand Luwang said that the first year of Prime Minister Narendra's second term completed on May 30.He said that week-long programmes would be held across the country in commemoration of completing the first year of the NDA Government's second term.
Dr Nimaichand said that many key issues were successfully resolved during the first year of the second term.
Abrogation of Article 370 which granted special status to Jammu & Kashmir was a historic achievement of Narendra Modi for BJP always believe in 'one Nation, one flag and one Constitution', said the BJP spokesman.
Talking about the enactment of Citizenship Amendment Act, Dr Nimaichand recalled that there was sustained public uproar against CAA including the North East and Manipur.
But Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah came out with a bold announcement that CAA would not be effective in areas/States where ILPS is in force.
Subsequently, the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi proclaimed that ILPS would be extended to the whole State of Manipur.
It was during the first year of his second term as the Prime Minister of India that Narendra Modi cleared the ground for construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya, Dr Nimaichand pointed out.
He remarked that the way Narendra Modi has been tackling the COVID-19 pandemic is highly commendable.
The fifth phase of the ongoing lockdown would begin tomorrow but the lockdown would be relaxed for most activities and sectors.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already announced an economic package of Rs 20 lakh crore to boost the country's economy particularly the MSME sector and it would benefit Manipur significantly, Dr Nimaichand said.
He said that the commemorative programme would be held at the State level on June 5 at Keishampat in conjunction with the World Environment Day.
