Ghari Youth Club expresses gratitude

Imphal, June 08 2021: The Ghari Youth Club (GYC) has expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who had extended invaluable contributions to Community Home Isolation Centre run by the club and households affected by measures taken up by the State Government to contain the spread of Covid.

GYC, in a press release, not only noted the commendable work of the frontliners in the fight against Covid but also opined that they indeed deserve our encouragement and support for their selfless dedication.

Many are waging war for food' and Covid at the same as Covid rage continues affecting all irrespective of economic condition or social status, and in view of these hardships many philanthropists, social workers and elected representatives have been extending forms of help and relief measures, it said.

In a noble gesture, Rajya Sabha MP, Leishemba Sanajaoba visited local CHIC and extended monetary assistance apart from hand sanitizer and medicines for smooth function of the centre, it said.

Local MLA (Patsoi), Ak Mirabai, social worker, RK Rameshwor who is also the managing director of RK Fortune Developers Pvt Ltd had also distributed relief items to households of Ghari affected by Covid, it noted.

Nongthombam Ratan, Pradhan of Sagplband Thounaojam Leikai Gram Panchyat not only extended monetary assistance to CHIC at Ghari but also provided all material components for construction of the washroom of the centre, said GYC with profound gratitude.

GYC also expressed hope of continuous support towards the club in their fight against Covid.
