Imphal, June 16 2016: Nungba will be given priority in case the BJP comes to power after 2017 election, Th Chaoba, convener State election management committee, BJP said.

Addressing a one day political conference for the forthcoming 11th State Assembly Election 2017 for the Nungba AC at Nungba community hall today, Th Chaoba alleged the Congress party as the most corrupt party ever.

And in ADC elections last year, CCpur and Ukhrul have voted out the Congress from their districts.

Congress leaders are notoriously involved in major scams, he said.

As such, Chaoba appealed to voters to uproot Congress in the coming Assembly election in Nungba AC and Tamenglong district.

Although, Dy CM and former MPCC president Gai-khangam belongs to Nungba AC, no development can be seen in the AC during the last 14 years of Congress' rule in Manipur.

The AC lacks behind in road connectivity development, educational institution, drinking water supply and power supply.

People of the AC could not see or enjoy development because their representative is confined to Babupara alone, he said.

Everybody knows that Gaikhangam is the weakest MPCC who could not develop even his home constituency, Nungba although he never forgets to amass personal wealth.

As such, he appealed to the voters of Nungba AC to elect a young and energetic leader in the person of Adim Pamei.

Pointing out Prime Minister Narendra Modi's zeal to honour Rani Gaidinlui by launching different events, Chaoba appealed to the people of Nungba to support BJP if they want a change in Nungba.

Adim Pamei, State executive member of BJP and aspiring BJP candidate from Nungba said that he lost the last general election due to manipulation of EVM by his rival candidate who was in the then State Government.

But now BJP being in power at the Centre, no candidate would be able to manipulate the EVM.

Adim said that he is not a leader of the people but an obedient servant.

He is ready to take any order or command of the people now.

Gaikhangam is people's leader and he had drained all the public property leaving nothing for the people, he said.

And now it is the time for the people to free themselves from such leaders, he said while adding that the BJP will turn Nungba AC into the most developed one in the State if it comes to power.

Adim said he is at pain that the Congress Govt has declared Tamenglong as the most backward district of the State.

The political conference was attended amongst others by State BJP leaders like former Minister N Mangi, I Mangiton, RK Ranjan, O Malesh, K Robindro from Mayang Imphal, AR Khan, Anwar Hassan, L Basanta from Thoubal, M Dhanabir, and Kh Sarat.
