Even as the right eye operation of Prakash - injured in police action aftermath the Tehelka exposure on the July 23 Khwairamband incident - has been performed at AIIMS, New Delhi, his fate is said to be gripped with uncertainties.
Naorem Prakash, son of N Thoiba of Langthabal Kunja was admitted to AIIMS hospital on August 14.A team of specialist doctors has operated the right eye of Prakash.
The coronary veins of the right eye are also said to be damaged by the gunshot which cause injury to his eye.
Speaking from New Delhi, attendants of Prakash said clots of blood have also been discovered at the head.
Prakash has been lodged at bed number 5001 in the Neuro-Surgery ward of AIIMS.
The daily charge is Rs 1200 .
Doctors will perform operation on the sensitive parts of the head tomorrow, they said.
An attendant and the father of Prakash are said to donate a bottle each of blood as huge amount of blood is said to be needed for the operation.
An amount of Rs 3 lakh has already been spent on his treatment.
Another Rs 50,000 was also sent by his family yesterday for the next operation.
Prakash sustained injury at the eye on August 5 on charge of being part of the agitation against the reported fake encounter of July 23 at Khwairamband Bazar.
