Steps to free Gaidon move to Delhi

To press for the release of the arrested UNC president Gaidon Kamei and information and publicity secretary Sankhui Stephen, concerned Naga individuals in Delhi and Naga civil societies based at Delhi came together and formed a committee during a meeting held at Nagaland House today.
Eighteen members have been appointed to the committee with Lakpachui Siro as the convenor and Chawangbo Chalunmai as the secretary.
After minutely discussing the issue, four resolutions were adopted.
It was resolved that the there will be a collective representation of all the Naga civil society organisations in a memorandum to be submitted to the office of the Prime Minister, Home Minister, interlocutor to the Naga peace talk, RN Ravi and the Governor of Manipur.
The memorandum will urge for the release of Gaidon Kamei and Sankhui Stephen.
To spearhead the movement, a committee was also formed under the banner of the Naga Students' Union, Delhi (NSUD) in collaboration with all the other Naga civil society organisations present at the meeting.
The Naga civil society organisations which were present at the meeting were Naga Forum, Delhi (NFD), Naga People's Movement for Human Rights, Delhi Sector (NPMHR), Naga Lawyers' Guild, Delhi (NLG), NSUD, Forum for Understanding Naga-India Conflict and Human Rights (FUNICH) and Naga People's Union for Civil Liberties (NPUCL) .
An appropriate name for the committee will decided in consultation with NSUD executives.
A protest rally has also been lined up at Jantar Mantar at the earliest possible time and under the committee, an appointment will be sought with the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and RN Ravi.
