With just a year or so left for the next Assembly election, Chief Minister O Ibobi reshuffled his Ministry for the first in innings number II of the SPF Government, with no one dropped and no fresh face inducted.
The only major changes or surprise package came in the form of Y Erabot being divested of the Consumers Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and the same being allotted to N Biren, who already has major two departments under his belt, IFCD and YAS.
DD Thaisii has been moved from the plum portfolio of Tribal Development, District Councils (Hills) and Veterinary and Animal Husbandry to Education, Science and Technology.
Chief Minister O Ibobi continues to remain as the Home and Finance Minister, MAHUD and any other departments not allocated to other Ministers.
Veteran Th Debendra Singh has been allocated additional charge of GAD to the previous portfolios he held which included Revenue, Forest and Environment, Law and Legislative Affairs.
Phungzathang Tonsing has also been given Tribal Development in addition to the Power Department, which he already held before.
Ph Parijat will come back to familiar territory, Agriculture, in addition to CADA and Labour and Employment.

TN Haokip is one among the cases where there has been no changes in his portfolios.
He will continue as the Minister of PHED, IPR and Tourism.
Not a total surprise, but nevertheless, Y Erabot's wings have been clipped somewhat after the high profile portfolio, Consumers Affairs, Food and Public Distribution was removed from him and instead was given Sericulture and Painting and Stationery.
He has retained the Commerce and Industries Department, though.
N Loken Singh on the other hand has been given Minor Irrigation and Veterinary and Animal Husbandry besides Social Welfare, which he held earlier.
Education has been removed from L Jayantakumar Singh and instead he has been allotted Health and Family Welfare and Co-operation while Works Minister K Ranjit has been given additional charge of Transport.
Md Alauddin Khan will continue to be in charge of RD and PR, MOBC and Fisheries, while N Biren has also been given additional charge of CAF and PD besides IFCD and YAS, which he held earlier.
DD Thaisii has been moved from TD and will now be in charge of Education and Science and Technology.
