Auditorium inaugurated

A new multipurpose auditorium was inaugurated inside Sangai Bazaar complex at Hiyangthang Takhellambam Konjin, Imphal Wes't district today.
North Eastern Council secretary Ram Muivah, Sangai Bazaar chief advisor Kh Gambhir, FCI Mizoram Area Manager N Nanda Kishore, Imphal Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd Manager L Suranjoy, CAF&PD Assistant Director Ng Lawrence and social worker Th Dojendro attended the inauguration of Debala Multipurpose Auditorium as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
Speaking at the event, Sangai Bazaar chairman Kh Inaoba said that Sangai Bazaar was established with the aim of providing job opportunities to hard-working yet unemployed youths.
He also mentioned that the auditorium was inaugurated in name of his late sister in connection with Ningol Chakkouba festival.
The auditorium can be used for organising various indigenous arts and culture shows, films and music events at a low rate, he added.
He further informed that Chandranadi Cafe will also be established inside Sangai Bazaar.
An artificial turf for playing Futsal and a swimming pool will also be constructed as well.
Plans are also being made to include Siroy Cab Service, he added.
