Kpi Youth Day celebrated with message of oneness, communal harmony

Epically motivating the youth of Kangpokpi in pioneering the spirit of unity in diversity, communal harmony and collective effort towards building a peaceful State, the Kangpokpi Youth Day was celebrated at Mathew Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi DHQs.
Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills graced the occasion as chief guest while Thangjakam Misao, Vice Chairman, ADC Sadar Hills, who is also in-charge of Kangpokpi Town Development, WL Hangshing and Palal Singsit, Inspector (Tax) attended as guest of honour.
Haokholien Guite, Ex-MDC attended as functional president while ZEO Kangpokpi, DGM in-charge, MSPDCL, EO (Town) SHADC, Chairman KTC, UWC and other CSOs leaders attended as special invitees.
Youth Day Organizing Committee secretary, Satkholen Khongsai conducted a condolence service to all the departed leaders of Kangpokpi Youth Union, formerly known as Kangpokpi Youth Club.
Exhibition of cultural dance from various community including Kuki cultural troupe, Meetei cultural troupe, Nepali cultural troupe etc and motivational speech from various speakers were the main highlights of the program.
Recalling the establishment of Kangpokpi Youth Club which later upgraded to Kangpokpi Youth Union with a constituent unit of more than 17 youth clubs of the town, Haokholal Hangshing motivated the youths of Kangpokpi to promote brotherhood among all community in the town and to put a collective effort towards building a prosperous and peaceful Manipur.
The ADC Sadar Hills Vice Chairman further motivated the youth to focus on skill development works rather than seeking Government jobs so as to empower themselves and the society while conveying Sadar Hills Autonomous District Kangpokpi commitment to assist the youths in making Kangpokpi the best District Headquarters in the State.
