NYK youth leadership and community development training concludes

Imphal, February 25 2018:
A three-day residential training on Youth Leadership and Community Development, organised by NYK Imphal West under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India concluded at Sports Hostel, Khuman Lampak today.
40 youths selected from various youth clubs participated in the training programme.
In the valedictory function, District Youth Coordinator Yumnam Laksman Singh presented a detailed report of activities conducted during the camp.
Developing leadership quality, personality, moral responsibility and involvement of youths in community development programmes were the main objectives of the camp.
Resource persons were invited to interact with the youths on flagship programmes of the Government, Panchayati Raj, Life Skill Education, Prevention of Drug Abuse and Alcoholism, NYK's role in development of youth clubs, group discussion on preparation of Youth Club Action Plan, report writing etc.
On the other hand, Yoga, cultural programme, singing, cleanliness drive were some of the activities which was held during the camp.
NYKS State Director, Sahib Singh, who was the chief guest of the valedictory function advised the youth to join hands in implementing the various schemes launched by the Government at different villages.
The State Director distributed certificates to all the campers.
